Summer 2020 Releases

Hello friends! Summer 2020 is coming to an end, no matter how hard it is to realise. This was definitely a different summer, but it made me appreciate the joys and beautiful places that UK has to offer. Summer doesn't always mean sun and sea, it can mean rain and thunders with lots of beers and amazing albums! There were many great albums released by great bands this summer, and in this post I will wave summer goodbye with some of my favourite summer 2020 releases. 1. 'A Hero's Death'- Fontaines D.C (31st July 2020, Partisan Records) The band's second album, after their successful, Rough Trade's album of the year Dogrel.Everyone was waiting for the Dublin punk-rockers to release new material, and they didn't disappoint. A Hero's Death has a more melancholic sound,memorable tunes with meaningful lyrics that can bring you down. But "Life ain't always empty". 2. Hello people! Thanks for coming back to my blog, it means a lot to me! I hope you are enjoying your summer, whether you are in the office or chilling by the sea. In this post I decided to talk about album covers and show you some of my favourite artworks and the story behind them. Grab a cup of coffee or a pint of beer (depending on the time you are reading this) and enjoy! 💗💗💗 Primal Scream - Screamadelica (Creation Records, 1991) My favourite Primal Scream album which I didn't discover because of the cover (they say don't judge a book by its cover, not a vinyl, anyway). This artwork was created by an artist working in Creation Records, the record company that released the album, who saw a water sport in his office ceiling after taking LSD. And that's the result.
